next, the 13th instant, will be presented a new tragedy,
written by the Reverend Mr. Hume, Minister of the Kirk of
Scotland, called
Douglass.
  This night a Douglass your protection claims:
  A wife! a Mother! Pity's softest names:
  The story of her woes indulgent hear,
  And grant your suppliant all she begs, a tear:
  Prologue.
Lord Randolph, Mr. Douglass; Glenalvon, Mr. Reed; Norval
Douglass, Mr. Hallam; Old Norval, Mr. Harman; Mathilda, Lady
Randolph, Mrs. Douglass; Anna, Mrs. Harman. The original
prologue by Mr. Harman. Singing by Mrs. Love.
To which will be added, a farce, called
